-GORROTHOR FEMALE
-DONPY MALE
-CHISWAA MALE
-YYOK MALE
-ERRIEL MALE
-URRIEL MALE
-FLEMIKEN MALE
-BLISTY FEMALE
-VFASGERGAR MALE

I suggest Venus. That's a reference. Simon, where did you get your names from?

Artemis/Azure/Athena all are female godesses. What I do it pick an ancient greek/roman god that starts with the same letter as the pokemon and that is the same gender so:
Heracross - Hercules
Zapdos - Zues
Arcanine - Ares

psycho_freak... I do the same thing! All of the Pokemon in my game that have nicknames, are names of Gods or other figures from Greek mythology. Best names ever

A lot of people name their Pokemon after Greek Gods etc. Hmm... I've got some nicknames:
Aggron=Deathmetal
Sharpedo=Conqueror
Rayquaza=Chinook
Magneton=Tri-Force
Swampert=Swampy
Treecko=Tricky
Shuckle=Kutbeest (only Dutch people will understand this...)
And lots more...

Personally, I hate nicknaming and never do unless Iaccidentally hit yes when it asks me if I want to nickname. If I do that, then I just nickname it its actual name and if it evolves I change it to its new form.

You don't have to write the pokemon's name all over again, I you don't write anything it will keep it's name(and change it when it envolves)
And, psycho_freak, thanks, I'm gonna call her Ares!!

Ares is a god. Wouldn't Artemis work better for a female?
Also, I didn't name the female Scyther after Venus the goddess. I named it Venus after the women's razor brand.

Personally, I named my Sceptile "Solaris". Sol = sun, and Sunny Day improves Solarbeam, which is a Grass-type attack.

Mine's named Marid, it's a water spirit. Another good idea might be Charybdis, the whirpool-creating monster from The Odyssey.

What an extraordinary coincidence, Saturn... My Kyogre is actually named Charybdis......... Groudon is Scylla, even though it has no resemblance to her whatsoever. But still, how odd... O.o
