If you're looking to make a video of footage from a Wii, you'll need a video capture card in your computer in order to, quite literally, capture the video from the Wii. From there, any video editing program will work, even Windows Movie Maker. *shudder* Personally, I use Sony Vegas 9, but Adobe Premier is always nice. Granted, that'll cost you a few months pay and all...

Alternatively, if you have a digital video (DV) camera / recorder, you can use the "video in" composite input to record the video as if you were recording live action video. Connect composite splitters to the jacks on your system, then run two seperate sets of composite cables from the splitters to the camera and an input on the TV and press "record" when you're ready. You can run one seperate composite video to the in on your camera, but that forces you to play the game on the camera screen.
Once you have the video recorded to the DV tape, you can use a FireWire (IEEE 1394 interface) cord connected from the camera to your computer to transfer the video data, then use a video editing program of your choice.
