Hi everyone, I'm Sp00nMan from the gamefaqs boards. I'm the one that wrote the pokemon series catching guide on gfaqs too. I primarily used psypokes.com to get the percentages of encounters for most pokemon. credited of course.
I want to expand my faq to include D/P as soon as possible. Unfortunately there is no other site that has anything close to the level of accuracy that this site has when dealing with locations. I want the exact percentages to put in my faq.
I saw a post on the front page that says you guys have found the data, any ETA on being able to sort it out enough to post it?
thanks.

i think it's been long enough without replies that i can bump this topic.
also, all the english names are now available and probably a few other places. now that the names are out, the location data is of high importance to me. I want to get that faq out there before april 22 if at all possible.
ANY info on the location data will be grounds for cookies!

I'm not sure if the admins have the locations data, but since you are requesting for information from the admins instead of starting a discussion about PD, I'll move this topic to Viridian Forest.

this is in response to sNOwBaLL's post about not knowing whether they have the data. apparently it was found back in november, but they haven't been able to sort it out yet.
waiting patiently, but not that patiently.... i know i'm being annoying, but i want to get that faq up and running for DP asap.

Well, seeing as the admins have all changed hands, I imagine that the new admins (Lite Four) may not be doing the said project. They are probably sorting out the site itself, so you may have a somewhat longer wait than expected.

...and since there are different admins than now and TonBerryKing is busy with college, we might not be able to get all the facx there in time (and by that, I mean the release of P/D).

TK did give me a whole bunch of resources and other info. I do have several things pertaining to location. However, I'm not yet sure entirely how to interpret them. I'll talk to TK about it next time I see him, see if I can't at least figure out what I'm looking at, and then get to work on getting it on the site.
Unfortunately, we're still having some issues with the database that are preventing me from easily updating it. Luckily, the GameSpy Tech Support guys are some of the coolest guys on the planet, and they're working hard to figure out what's going wrong.
