http://www.psypokes.com/dex/damage.php
The damage calculator does not seem to take account of the 50% power boost from holding Choice Band or Choice Specs. I get the same damage values as though the Pokemon wasn't holding anything. However, Life Orb and Expert Belt seem to be working, so I don't think I am using the calculator incorrectly.

It says Blue's speciality is "Diveristy" on the HG/SS Gym/Elite/Champion guide.

(sorry for the double post, but the typo affects such a big portion of the site I think it's better that this doesn't go unnoticed)
On every Picdex page, it says "Minature sprites" when it obviously should say "Min iature sprites"
- Fixed. Thanks again.

You misspelled Shinto Ruins as Shinjo Ruins for the HGSS Forum
Nope, that's intentional. It was Shinto Ruins until the English name, Sinjoh Ruins, was revealed. - Frost

sorry if this doesn't go here, but it kind of fits, so...
throughout the hgss walkthrough, you list the pokemon that can be found on what games, percentages, locations, etc... the percentages are misplaced on a lot of spots. idk if it's just me, but can you look into that? thanx

@rex09: It's not really a typo so it doesn't belong in this thread, but I don't understand what you mean by the percentages are "misplaced". They appear in the table nicely with all the other information. Please clarify what you mean.

i'm sorry, it looks like my computer was acting up, as all of a sudden, i can't see any perceivable problem. Again, sorry for the inconvenience (and the misplacement of the reply). "Thanx" for your time...

third word in article says "remeber" instead of "remember". Then there is also the word "infront" instead of "in front". also the letter "a" in the sentence "...send you on a a little hunt..." is repeated.

Not sure if this goes here, but I would like to mention some errors in the Walkthrough for FRLG.
Firstly, there are (currently) "no" wild Pokemon at all in Seafoam Islands at all. I seriously thought that I wouldn't run into any opposition heading for Articuno, but then I was [pleasantly] surprised by a Seel. I would love to see the appearance rate...capture matrix...occurency chart...whatever it technically is for the Islands.
Fixed, again. I know I took care of that a few weeks ago..
Surprisingly little is covered in Sevii Islands for that matter. While most of the wilds are listed, none of the non-Biker Trainers are. I almost considered writing it down and placing them here, but that was before I realized how many there are.
(At this point, I would like to thank from the deepest part of me whoever works so hard on the walkthrough, they are AMAZING!)
Thankfully, it wasn't a deterrent into my encounter with Moltres...
Thanks!

okay, there's a little misinformation in the hgss walkthrough, and i figured this would be the best place to put it...
at the end of the section covering the defeat of blue, it says that articuno has now roosted in the seafoam islands. this is actually untrue, as you can catch articuno at any point, as soon as you can get there. zapdos, mt silver, the new E4, and cerulean cave are the only things unlocked by blue's defeat. hope this helps. (and again, sorry if this is in the wrong place).

In the HGSS guide it says "but they also might could get wrecked by Rock Slide" in the portion talking about the gym leader, Chuck.
I think it is meant to say "but they may also get wrecked by Rock Slide" because "might could" is redundant.

Note that this is a TYPO, not pointing out errors in the guide, so please don't flame me.

HGSS guide again. In the paragraph beneath the shiny Gyarados it says "Team Rocket is trying to use force all of the Magikarp in Lake of Rage to evolve into Gyarados"
The typo is in red. Just take out the word "use" maybe?
Edit: found another one on the same page.
In the part about the rocket base, in the paragraph under the picture of the Persian statue it says "go south between the first two statues and through to simplistic maze to find the computer"
Typo in red again. Add "a" between "to" and "simplistic"
http://www.psypokes.com/hgss/walkthrough.php?part=6
Edit: Diamond, Pearl and Platinum should be changed to Heart Gold and Soul Silver now that they are included. EG(locations, level up moves, that sort of stuff.) Written right beneath the picture of the three starters from Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.
Sorry, it is more of an update then a typo, I know that but it's bugging me and I'm pretty sure there isn't a "point out where the site needs to be updated" thread. And it does technically count seeing as it says the wrong set of games.
http://www.psypokes.com/dex/index.php
Just so we're clear on this, after my post says "-Fixed" I am just going to make a new post. Even if it means I would be double posting. I figure this way it will be easier for the MODS/ADMINS, whoever works on them, to keep track of which of the typos I have pointed out have been fixed and which ones are new. I hope that's okay.
Edit: The paragraph above the picture of Snorlax says "so save you game" it should say "so save you r game"

Technical error: "Pokémon" is spelled without an accented e throughout the site. Type alt-130 on your numeric keypad to produce the character, or copy it from here: é. I'm not sure if this really counts as a major typo...

A typo is when a word is misspelled. "Pokemon" is not misspelled. Differences in browsers and character set options make using the é character on the internet unwise. Depending on individual settings, it may render as a rectangular box or a diamond with a question in it instead of the intended e-acute. It's also just tedious to go in and replace every occurrence of "Pokemon" with "Pokémon" on the entire website.

Seel's FireRed description has a typo in the Psydex:
"ts body is covered with a pure white fur. The colder the weather, the more active it becomes."
I believe the first word is supposed to be "Its"?
The word "separate" as been spelt incorrectly as "seperate" under Emerald:
http://www.psypokes.com/rsefrlg/pickup.php
- Fixed 26Oct2010. The Seel typo was actually under Dewgong's entry.

HGSS forum description says Generation IV remakes, I know they were made in Gen IV but I think it should be Gen II remakes.

I think thats intentional. The FRLG forum says it's Gen III too. If anything, it should be changed to say "the Gen IV remakes of Gold/Silver"

I wouldn't call it a typo but still text related... swift and its copy-cats all say "Ignores Evasion and Accuracy modifiers and never misses except against Protect, Detect or a target in the middle of Dig, Fly, Dive or Bounce." for their gen V descriptions. Shouldn't "Sky Drop" be added to that list at the end? Oh and the new everyone guard moves that I can't remember the names of at the moment should be added to the list with Protect and Detect.
http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/129/ - Swift http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/332/ - Aerial Ace http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/351/ - Shock Wave http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/396/ - Aura Sphere http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/185/ - Faint Attack http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/345/ - Magical Leaf http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/443/ - Magnet Bomb http://www.psypokes.com/dex/techdex/325/ - Shadow Punch
And while we're on the subject of Swift-a-likes, I think an "ignores evade/accuracy" battle effect search should be added to the TechDex search because of how many there are now if such a thing is possible... or maybe this post will work for that... >>;;

Battle Subway PageQuote: In the Multi Train and Super Multi Train, you can also pair with Pokemon Trainer Hilbert (if you are a female) or Pokemon Trainer Hilda (if you are a female). Is one of them supposed to say, if you are a male? I don't know which one's which, but I just noticed this as I was reading through the page.

Redundant is used correctly in that context, as a dictionary definition of redundant is "being in excess," which the beauty stat has become.

Frost, I am well aware of what redundant means. You cannot raise the beauty stat in Black/White. How do you propose that something unobtainable to start with is in excess? Irrelevant (not relevant; not applicable or pertinent) seems appropriate for something that is no longer used as the method of evolution.
I understand that for Pokemon in general the system is redundant, but the fact is that the linked page pertains to Black/White specifically, in which there is only one method for the evolution of Feebas which does not include the involvement of previous games.

I'm with Frost on this one. "Redundant" does a satisfactory job of getting the idea across that the Beauty stat no longer exists, even if there are perhaps words that are more "correct" to use.
Now, please stop posting about this. This thread was created for people to point out bugs and factual errors, not to allow them to be grammar Nazis.
