Well I noticed that there is a TON of members who come, make 1 or less posts, and never sign on again. Doesn't that take of memory? Doesn't memory cost money? My suggestion is that there should be a limited amount of time after a person joins (a long time since some people have circumstances) in which the must make it clear that they are active at all (eg. posting more than once, pming), or be deleted. For example: If a person joins, makes no posts, and never signs on again; then they should be deleted. Otherwise it's just extra space.

I am ignorant to the amount of power admins have, so sorry if you can't even delete profiles in the first place.

I am so tired of people asking this question.

Just so there's actually a helpful response in this thread:

Profiles take up such little space that it's really not worth bothering with mass deleting accounts that don't make any posts or even sign in after a certain length of time.

That said, I agree with Krisp that way too many people suggest this.

And now the topic is relocked.

Deleting all of those topics makes a mess out of the database anyway. All sorts of rows missing. Sure, it could be fixed, but running the fix can result in other complications, as it locks the database down.

I like to keep my databases clean and neat; punching holes in it to delete nonactive members does exactly opposite that.
