Is it possible to start a pokemon breader fourm where we can discuss all things breeding i think this would hopefully cut down on repeated posts between breeding questions on all generations and hopefully help the newbies looking for info and not have to ask in strange areas i hope im not kicking a dead dog and i placed it in the suggestion area i was gonna suggest a breeder team but it looks like there are no new teams allowed but sence im more of a breeder/collector then a battler i would like a place i can call home and i just cant find it

The seperate forums for each generaion are fine, people can ask ther questions there, and this way anybody to knows the answer can answer. I don't think a Pokemon Breeder forum is neccessary.

#1 i did not suggest nor hint that the generations should be combined thats just a silly idea i would expect to be slapped upside the head for that

all i suggested was a centralized spot for breeders which i have to look in the nooks and cranneys for any breeding topics if there centralized the people that can be considered experts can check those fourms and give there influance instead of joe that used the daycare center and walked by one day and the old man was looking for him and from the magical egg he got a perfect poochyena

as i can see there is a probibility that no one can find a place to ask breeding questions none of the fourms are clearly marked for breeding this is why i brought this up

if i post about breeding it will be breeding across the generations if i post in the jewls fourm and my perfect pokebreeder buddie is in the kanto revis fourm i wil not get his input

this is a theme between the generations and will most likely be in all the future pokemon

if they remake g/s/c is it not feesable that they will have breeding in that one as well

if your worried abot upkeep i would suggest myself but i doubt i have been around long enough to be given control of a fourm

I still don't see why you can't ask breeding questions in the forums for each generation. If your question is about breeding in R/S/E, ask it in the R/S/E forum. If it's about G/S/C, ask in the G/S/C forum, and so on.

If all else fails, there is the General Pokemon Discussion forum to use.

Try not to run on in your sentences because I hardly understood that.

But restating F_W, with a little more input, traveling the forums is very easy. You simply need to click something to get to the index, then click another link to get to the forum. It's your friends fault if he can't get there because he obviously does not have enough brainpower to think about which section it is in.

You can usually elimnate a couple forums right off the bat, and you can eliminate some categories too. It won't be in "Psypoke" Community" because those forums aren't directly pokemon related. "Psypoke Isle" is for teams, so it won't be there. "General Discussions" can be knocked out, because all of those forums are not directed at Pokemon.

Breeding? Well, breeding is different for certain generations. Not everything is the same for Johto as it is for LG/FR and Hoenn regions. So depending on what verions you are taliing about, you can eliminate more choices. Then you understand that it won't be in "Other Games" or "TCG", because you can't breed there.

So you've knocked it down to 4-5 forums to check, at the most. If you're friend or whoever for that matter, is too lazy to check that many forums, then he ought to just leave, for a few reasons.

1) It doesn't take as long as you may think to surf the forums
2) He could always use the main site for major issues
3) phpBB has included a search function for people to use

So that's that, I'm going to press my point that an extra forum isn't needed. When people around this forum help, they are generally on track. So we don't need "experts" to run the forums. This is a community.

By the way, if you do decide to write your guide Shadow, best of luck to you. Put enough time in it, and you may get it put in the Game Guides section.

Then, clearly, the topic is not in enough demand to warrant its own forum.

no i feel it is excactly the oppisite the reason on one posts on breeding is because of the fact that noone can tell where to post

i appoligize that this is such an offensive topic just lock the stupid thing and get it over with

frankly i thought it was a good idea and would have loved to share ideas with others that enjoy this aspect of the game

also i the buddie that i was talking about was figurative not a person i know if he knew i was posting in the kanto forums i would beat him upside the head aswell

look just so you understand i was saying a perfect pokebreeder friend (this person dose not know me yet he would make a great friend as far as pokebreeding) he posts in the kanto fourm and knows nothing about me or my posts because i am posting in the jewls section

you say a community site i am a suggesting something that is fostering a small group that might just suprise you

then again i could totally be wrong and what have you lost a whole 5 min at most because you built another fourm and it died
