The icons for displaying new posts on each forum is coloured when there is a new post. To make it clearer, could you out the animated icons in colour instead? It would be a lot easier to see to people who flick through Psypoke seeing new posts...

Thats a good idea, I hate Claydol/Unown as I cant tell if there are new posts if I just flick my eyes over them as they are dark.

I think they're fine, except Claydol that one is hard to see. (I don't look at the Sport's forum anyway, though.)

To be honest I faced the same problem with some of the icons initially, but it's rather easy to get used to them, so I don't see a need for changes personally. In fact, a quick scroll down is sufficient for me to see which forums have new posts, and that includes the Sports and Help sections.

I've never had a problem with the Help section (although I don't look at the sports section, so I don't know about that), but the two that I have a hard time with are the Slateport Market and the Game Guides sections. If the E4 is up for it, I think this may be a very good suggestion, that would ease use of these forums.

And, I don't know, but I think it will boost the ratings of Psypoke slightly, as kids are fascinated by shiny, flashy or moving. I was!
I don't see the E4 online much anymore, I think they're relying on Mods and members to keep the place happy and spam phree.

Yeah i was attracted to Flashy and Shiny things. Im all up for this.
The admins are older than us so they have things to do. 'A life' they call it. I have no idea what it is.

Two things that I want to point out. Firstly, that has nothing to do with age. Secondly, that which you do not see does not mean that it doesn't exist. Simply put into context, just because you don't see the admins posting everywhere and appearing online 24/7, doesn't mean they are not there.
Anyway, if we change the icons to animated ones, wouldn't they take longer to load than the current icons?

Probably, but if they just kinda flash in two colors, back and forth, I don't think it would be a huge difference. Then again, I do nothing with graphics, so I have no idea.

Currently, only animated ones are available, on PE2K. If they were to be changed to icons which flash two colours, the sprites would need to be made manually.
