Have you seen his eyes? Are they like permanently closed or something? Or maybe he has one two many cateracts? Poor guy if he's blind, how is he going to ahh... pester... yeaas... pester... all those Nurse Joys and Officer Jenny's whenever he meets one?

Hey, you never! I always that his entirely family was always blind from birth, then they had laser eye surgery because they discovered girls were pretty, but it went wrong so he's permanently squinting.

The whole "-_-" face is just one of those Anime things. If you're going to nitpick about Brock's eyes, you might as well wonder about why Jesse has twelve feet of hair, why James has blue hair, how Misty could possibly not freeze to death in the mountains with only a baby tee and hot pants on, or why Ash has those little Zs under his eyes.

Yeah, it's just an anime-type of eye, but if we are just joking, I think that is a genetic desease, since his whole family has those (lines) eyes! =]

I think they just weren't able to get him to look decent with eyes, and were too lazy to design another character.

I love Brock, hes the best of the best, A few dirty magizines should pretty much clear things up. (he may have looked at the wrong mag )

C'mon guys, Brock's just an anime character with typical stretched eyes. Plus, I've seen some other characters from other animes with the same appearance (anyone watch Card Captors Sakura?)

i think brocks eyes are like that just to make him look different from the other characters. a lot of them look the same, if you took may and mistys hair off, their faces would look exactly the same, as would nurse joys, officer jennys and ashes mom. Brocks eyes are just a design thing.

When you think about it (and I know some people don't like to hear this) a lot of Asian people's eyes look like slits. -_-

i think that brock doesnt open huis eyes much because whenever you do see him open his eyes its the little heart shaped thingies... maybe he had his eyes replaced with hearts to impress chicks... (maybe he had the same thing picasso did...)
