this is what im on about and ven though people delete this guys topics he reposts em so we need like a report abuse icon or just ban people sho do it straight way (im using this guy as an example)

I do not see how such a system would work. When users flag a topic as "Abusive", the mods still have to come onto the forums and delete the post anyway. How does that differ from what happens now?

Secondly, I seriously do not think the members of this forum can be fully trusted to decide who should be banned or not; that is why we have moderators. Currently we delete the topics and remove the user account.

I understand these posts are really, really annoying, but the moderators are doing everything they can to remove them.

And by the way, I didn't really understand why you needed a poll for this, so I deleted it for you

Yeah, I agree, people spam alot, an example is "soulmaster". Look at "What Languages Do You Speak?" topic (my topic) and look at his posts. Nobody dares to delete them.

Firstly Mitch is referring to the influx of spam bots, which are automated machines that register and post links in forums like ours. I said we do our best to delete these topics as soon as possible.

Secondly, I do not think you are in a position to start accusing people of posting spam, especially after this post:



Please leave that to the moderators. We will delete or edit people's posts if we see fit. The only time you should report spam is if a moderator may have missed a particular post; in the case of your topic, several moderators have replied indicating that they have probably sighted the post and decided it isn't spam.
