In my opinion Megadeth is way better that Metalica. I feel that Metallica is overrated, i'm not saying that I don't like Metallica but after hearing Megadeth's "Rust in Piece" album, I feel that that album destroys Metallica's "Master Of Puppets"

Half of what I'm hearing isn't even metal, most of it's rock. Try things like Rob/White Zombie, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Cannibal Corpse, Cradle of Filth, Eluviete, Ensifirum, or Dethklok. Those are metal, heavy metal, thrash metal, or folk metal! That's real music.

I am so glad that there's a ton of fellow metalheads here. My favorite band? I don't have one! I have over 2,000 songs on my MP3 player, so I would say any band on there. My favorite songs? That can be answered:

If you really are a metalhead:

1. You can't put a genre label on Strapping Young Lad other than extreme metal.
2. Slayer can kick the (censored) out of Metallica.
3. You hate all of the trendy pop stars and wish that some would just go die.
4. You can't name a favorite band, much less a favorite song. (The few I named were just a few.)
5. You do your best to spread the metal to all around you.
6. You're welcome to any type of metal. (I can somehow justify mentioning Limp Bizkit and SYL in the same breath.)

I agree with Psper12. I like Megadeth a lot better than Metallica, but I was never a Metallica fan to begin with.
I really like black metal, thrash metal, and melo-death I guess you would call it.

KoRn- Someone said Pantera is Nu-Metall and therefore, sucks. Two reasons why this is wrong; KoRn invented Nu-Metal, and KoRn is ****ing 'am-aza-zing'. But listen to to their new album 'The Path To Totality'. That is all... For now.
