... Presenting the two new Ex Emerald theme decks!

Hydrobloom: Starring Milotic and Sceptile, this deck is quite "gentle" in the sense that it mainly tries to cause status conditions and not as much outright attacking power as compared to Wildfire. Get Energy onto Marshtomp quick. He can dish out quite a bit. It you're lucky enough to get Sceptile early, get a Grass energy onto as many guys as possible quick to pervent status conditions (due to his Green Essence PokeBody). Mainly Water and Grass.

Wildfire: Starring Manectric and Blaziken, this deck is for those who love to have a VERY BIG BANG at thier opponents. Although you MIGHT want to keep from evolving Torchic for a while due to Hypnotic Gaze, which is a potent weapon against the Mudkip family as well as practically the only status condition this deck can cause. Save Manectric for when the opponent's bench is full then play Manectric as well as an Energy, which will destroy the opponent. Mainly Electric and Fire.

Have you uys got any of them? Which do YOU prefer?

Oh, I thought Wildfire was a different one. Oh, never mind, that's Brushfire.

ye wildfire seems exactly like brushfire (my first pokemon deck ever).

brushfire used ninetales and chameleon to dish out fast damage so it seems the same strategy to me. anyway, pre-constructed decks never have very good strategies in the first place so i used to get them for the rare foil, the trainer cards, and the nice energies of course to build my own decks.

i to only buy the decks for the shiny foil card, the trainers, and energys(which i always seem to need no matter how many decks i buy)

Wildfire! I bought that deck. Down with bloomin' Hydrobloom(pun intended) because Electrike will murder Feebas within seconds! Plus I got an Manectric ex from an EX Deoxys booster pack, making the Electrikes much more useful!

Question: Do you buy single ex's or try your luck with booster packs? My friend looked really surprised when I told him about the Manectric ex.

Oh yeah? Hydrobloom totally thrashed Wildfire when I brought out Swalot. It's not just the types tht matter you know. And the Mudkip family has Grass weakness which helps all the more.

But it really depends on how you play.

Look at the main Pokemon. In Hydro,it's Milotic and Sceptile, which are killed by Manectric and Blaziken. Besides, Feebas is so pathetic that it's a free prize card as soon as it's out.

Well, who did Swalot thrash? If it's Torchic, no surprises.
