Here's a thread where we can discuss who everybody's favorite character on Pokemon is. No flaming or character bashing shall be tolerated. To save poll space, I've paired up the characters, so vote and specify who your #1 vote went to.

Well, my favorite character is actually Jesse, which is kind of funny, because I used to be named after James, right? Well, Jesse is just too funny with her self-obsessed and James-and-Meowth beating antics. I do like Jamesy too, but his dialogue tends to come off cheesy and random lately. And his voice has changed so much so the begin of the show (I mean since Eric Stuart doing the character). Jesse's voice has remained the same kind of evil, and Seviper and Lickitung are two cool Pokemon.

Meowth is actually my favorite. I like his character, the cheesey accent, and his history. He has been through a lot and he seems to always fail. Though his still keeps going and he has his sense of humor about him. He is also the little genius out of the bunch in some episodes. He just rocks basically.

This is a real toughie.. a) because I don't watch that much anime and it isn't showing in NZ at the moment, and b) because I've never actually though about who my favourite character is.

But anyway, I think I like Team Rocket more than Ash and Co, it's quite a pity that all the writers use them for are enter once, get blasted away by the same move everytime, then are gone for the rest of (or most of) the episode. One episode I really enjoyed was a Poached Ego in which I remember Ash saying "With all the evil like Team Rocket in the world, it's good to know there are some good people". That really pissed me off (for some strange reason). I don't really have a preferred liking to either Jess, James or Meowth, so I just voted for "Jesse and James"

I choose James because he seems the most like me. Although, occasionally, I'm like Brock.

sorry but i find all of the anime characters rather highly disturbing... espeacially ash... so id have to go with meowth and pikachu i guess.

i'd say ash - he is alot like me in a way - well apart from i dnt wear the same clothes day in day out - i actually comb my hair - i don't have any real pokemon - i don't have any disturbing mates like brock and tracey - i don't have a dumb accent - i actually try to catch 'em all - i dont shout when i want a pokemon to come out.......... etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.................

It's between James and Brock. James is funny, and basically nuts, and Brock is the most realistic character in the anime. I mean, he's obsessed with girls!!! And the whole eyes always closed thing- that's just plain funny!

I voted for James because he is such a girl. His scream (which you hear so often) sounds so girly.

A bit girl-crasey, but he always comes tru.

My favorite charictor is Ash Ketchum! ^^ He's soo cool and he's a lot like me. XD
Plus, he has Pikachu and lots of other favorite Pokemon of mine.
And I think he's totally awsome!

I dunno if anyone would find this wierd, but I think Misty is cool. Well, the only reason why is because she specializes in Water pokemon, and I once had the perfect water team in Blue version. Lol, everything fits in... Misty, Water, Blue. Oh well.

I have nothing against Misty, after all my favourite type is Water, and she specialises in them. I voted for Brock though.

I don't really like any of the characters, I actually like the pokemon (excluding Meowth and Pikachu) more than the human characters.
