“Brother, my brother”....wahh, when I first heard that song during the sad fighting scene, I almost cried.

I dunno. I can't really pick a favorite song. I haven't seen any of the new episodes (all the episodes that take place in Hoenn), so I don't feel I can choose one without even had heard the new songs.

(BTW, the reason I haven't seen any of them is because I don't get the channels that have it...even though I have over 200 satellite channels...lol.)

I like the theme from "Pokemon: Master Quest". Its perfect for battling in pokemon, it gets you pumped up whoo, eye of the tiger baby.

I also like the Music Entitled "On Our Way" used in Route 1 on the games. My favorite version being the G/S/C one, I learned how to play it on the Keyboard. It's a lovely little tune

Im not sure if this is a song, but in the first movie when they showed mewtwo waving his Hand to conjure up the storm, they played that dark, deathly tune. I really like the music from Lilycove City =^^=

Jigglypuff song!!

I'm sorry, I didn't care much for "Brother, My Brother," because it was used awfully in the first movie. We're at the climax of the film, all the Pokemon are fighting each other and Pikachu is refusing to attack its clone and then suddenly a sappy boy band song starting playing AND they really muted it so it was barely audible anyway? Nope, wasn't working for me. But then again, the movies that were released in American theathers have all had soundtracks consisting of 95% crap-pop. Of the dub movies, the theme song for Jirachi Wish Maker, even though it was bizarrely half Japanese/half English, was my favorite song.

The only non-opening theme English song I really like is the "Pokemon (Dance Remix)," that was featured on the 2BA Master CD. It's the only English Pokemon song done by a professional singer, and it's about as techno as the dub's music ever got. The rest of the dub's soundtrack music ranges from hideous ("Misty's Song" and the Johto Pokerap were especially atrocious) to nostalgic ("Double Trouble" and the rest of the Pikachu's Jukebox songs except "Together Forever") to decent (the Jigglypuff songs from Pokemon Karoakemon).

As for the opening themes, I like the Indigo, Orange Islands and Johto Journies themes because they're nostalgic and they're better done than the three themes that proceed them. My favorite dub opening overall is definitely Advanced Challenge's, though. Just the overall style and presentation set it apart from most Pokemon music, plus I really didn't care for the singer of the fourth, fifth and sixth openings and this was a welcome change. And since only the Japanese version gets closing themes, my favorites of those are "Polka o Dolka," "Nyasu no Party," "Maemuki Rocket-Dan," "Lapras ni Notte," and "Takeshi no Paradise."

And if we're talking instrumentals, the original show's score is quite good, but it's a shame that 4Kids hacks most of it out these days. Back in Kanto we got to hear a good amount of the original BGM. My favorites are "Afterward, Clear Those Tears," which was used when Ash was talking to the Spearow in the first episode, and the Team Rocket motto music in both Kanto/Johto and Hoenn.

most of the songs i think are alright, however i really loathe the intro to the orange islands season, don't know why, i just think it's craparoonie.

But my favourite song/tune that i can remember would probably be "One world" on the pikachu jukebox or the tune that played during the fourth movie when celebi was resurrected.

(i don't consider "the return of Mewtwo" as a movie, because it did'nt really do anything, it was just a special episode designed to let everyone know what happened to Mewtwo after the first movie)
