hey! i just wanna get a poll on what everybody's (even if everybody is nobody) deck's basic type (as in type, i mean the symbol that is located next to the pokemon's hp) is. me? i hope to soon have a steel-type deck (see my dilemma in my other topic in this forum section).

**please post if i'm missing a type on the list or if you think something should be something else

I played Pokemon TCG long ago, before there was Steel and Dark types. The decks I had then were a Fire/Electric one, plus a Water one, and a Psychic/Normal one. I can't recall anything else

ye most decks dont go for mono-type. i played tcg until the gym leaders sets then stopped due to its local unpopularity. i had a psychic-water one (the freaky tentacool alakazam combo where u stack all the damage on tentacool then bring it back to ur hand for invincibility 8) ) and a electric-fire one which was practically just eevee evolutions and a bunch of rare cards for fun.

well, i didn't mean to make this look like: "what type do you use?" i meant for this to be: "what type appears most frequent in your deck?"sorry if i've caused confusions

Since theres not a rock type, I used to play with Ground.

My best deck was a Fire/Psychic deck, made up entirely of Base Set/Jungle. And no there are no Charizards, because they take up too much energy. If I ever find the deck I'll post it.

I don't think there's a ground type either. You may be thinking of Fighting (P.S. I'm new to the Nintendo cards so I could be mistaken). They should make cards and Energies (never thought I'd say this) for all types eg) Bug.

I had a kick-butt Electric deck, it had holo , , holo , just to name a few. Sadly, I lost it though .

Yeah they lumped all the types together so after a while it became confusing. What's worse is that some Water types are weak to Grass, while others were weak to Electric. But evne though we're complaining about this, can you imagine having to deal with over 15 types of Energy Cards? :roll: So there are good and bad points actually.

Eneries confuse me. I never use them. I'd be happy with no energies.

Fire/Electric, but mainly Fire. Based on Wildfire.
