Oh thank you for clearing this up for me because in my gold version I saw a shiny Drowzzee right outside of goldenrod(when I first arrived), and in fire red and leaf green I saw a shiny bellsprout right after I finished the nugget bridge but I've had ruby version since it first came out and still haven't see one. Same with emerald.

re-design the battle chartso its actually more balanced instead of rock and grass the weakest

pokemon stats evened out so YOUR favourite pokemon can acually have a chance against some OU pokemon

i mean nintendo made grass suck, especially since its thunder/blizzard/fire blast/hydro pump equal is solar beam and that takes 2 turns. that is really the main thing that peeves me

More Eeveelutions would be cool, There needs to be a grass one.

But alternative moves like Flamethrower, Surf and Ice Beam are 100% accurate, has more PP, and is only slightly less powerful than Solarbeam. On the other hand, Grass doesn't have an alternative move that is pretty good. Leaf Blade and Giga Drain are pretty good, but I don't put them in the same class as Flamethrower and co.

What exactly do you mean, Orre_Master? Like, an ambition? If so, then I agree with you, I think you should decide whether you want to challenge all the way up to the Elite Four or solely battle Team Rocket or the like.

Or be a Gym Leader... or Breeder... or Frontier Brain or... something. (I think in Orre_Master's case it's Mt. Battle Master )

....i would dearly love to see them redo Yellow,so you can have Pikachu follow you again! another posssibility would be to have whichever of the three starters you choose do the same,but that would be harder,since most folks want their main creature to grow up....with Pikachu,i never do-she's just too cute as is!

something else i would really like would be ways to make your creatures level up faster,when you can't link up with another machine to trade...it is a real problem for some of us! ^_^ i have the cable to link the older machines,but since the newer games aren't compatible,i'm kind of up a tree as far as moving my game along without having to waste time in tons of piddly little battles. to me,Pokemon is all about enjoying the multitude of cute creatures,and don't like the battling.....so i do it as little as i can get away with.
how about a game where the point is just to catch the different creatures,and do the dex, but no battling? that would be perfect to me!

It would be nice if they remade Johto.In terms of gameplay G/S/C rocks but the fact that some moves that pokemon learn later on in the GBA games are unavailable is very annoying.Graphics in G/S/C,compared to Emerald or FR/LG,are really suckish.Also it`s kinda hard to enjoy G/S/C cause all the trainers are so patheticaly weak,I mean I totaly owned the Johto Elite Four with a single Lv. 55 Feraligatr and gym leaders were much worse and unchallenging.It would rock if they remade Johto,or before the release of D/P they could make a game with Kanto,Johto and Hoenn combined...or maybe they`l do that in D/P...who knows.

Yeah,and since all 368 pokemon are available (kinda) with all existant games Nintendo wouldn`t have the intrest in making a remake,but I rather jump of a cliff than complete the Hoenn dex so that dex-whining Birch would give me a Totodile.

Well you could also get Colosseum considering the second pokemon you can snad is croconaw.

That`s not the point...I was just saying that Nintendo probably won`t make a remake because all 368 pokemon are already available and they don`t make games just out of plain randomnes.It would be good though if they combined a Yellow remake and G/S/C remake into one game and release it before D/P.They could sum up everything from the GBA era with that.

Completing the hoen dex is not really that hard. I've done it in Ruby Version, and now I have to do it again in Emerald to get Chikarita -.-

On topic: I really don't care too much about a remake for Johto, but it would be nice if they re-released Silver and Gold again kind of like Playstation does with Greatest Hits. (The only game I'm missing from my collection is silver version *sigh* can't find it anywhere.)
